Monday 8th August – bike **** – Early morning around Felixstowe– sunny and warm.

Decided to join Mag on her early morning bike ride and were down on the prom at 6.50 despite me being up at 4 to take more phots of the Super or Sturgeon moon and brilliant it looked too! Turning left to The Fludgers there was the usual large number of open water swimmers enjoying the warm calm sea! Around to the quieter Dip leading to Felixstowe Ferry before taking the Deben path to Kings Fleet and up Marsh Lane ending up in The Grove and collected a bag of small logs for the fire in the winter, got to do something to beat the price increases! A quick stop off at Tesco for milk then home for breakfast and exercises in the very hot back garden, I did come in and dozed for an hour on the settee, all this windsurfing is taking its toll! A few mates are heading to the River Stour for a foil but cant face the drive so will stay local and head to the Dip later this afternoon once the tide has dropped a little!
